Aww, I’m glad the comment came at a timely moment and could be helpful in some small way! I appreciate you sharing your personal story in view of universal truth and advice to view and portray others as complex characters, not one-dimensional caricatures. I’m sure this genuine effort will resonate with your mom as she reads your memoir. I can relate—although my mom passed away 13 years ago, I had a dream just this week about whether she approved of me. Those ties run deep! Wishing you well in your conversations with your mom, may it bring you closer together!
